FUKUOKA - China's Luo Xuejuan won her third breaststroke medal when she won the women's 50-meter gold at the swimming world championships on Friday.
Luo, who had already won the 100-meter gold and 200-meter bronze, won the inaugural 50-meter world title with a time of 30.84 seconds at Marine Messe Fukuoka.
Kristy Kowal of the United States clocked 31.37 for the silver and Zoe Baker of Britain hit the wall in 31.40 for the bronze.
