was chosen as one of the recipients of Hong Kong Top Ten Youth Award today. Yes, there's no mistake. Though Lau is 38 this year, he still met the Award's fundamental criteria - that is, one's age must not exceed 40 years.
Though Lau commented that age is of no importance to him, he did confess that if he did not get this award this year, chances of him being nominated in the future are much slimmer as he will be pushing 40 soon.
When asked if he harbored any feelings of bitterness when his fellow Heavenly Kings Jacky Cheung and Leon Lai received this Award last year, Lau coolly remarked that there were no hard feelings. What's most important to the man is the fact that he is still under 40!Currently preparing for his acceptance speech, Lau was contented that his contributions to Hong Kong's entertainment industry in the past 20 years are finally given due recognition.
Lau will be presented with the Award on Saturday, October 30.
